Join this class to build confidence and start your breastfeeding journey off right!
This class will answer your questions and help you get off to the best possible start on your nursing journey. Our goal is to help you gain confidence, troubleshoot if needed, and have a happy, well-fed baby! Topics include breastfeeding basics, proper hold, what to expect immediately after delivery and beyond. The class is taught by a registered nurse/International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
We are excited to announce we will be gifting each registrant an "Understanding Breastfeeding" book and exclusive web app that works on any type of mobile device or computer. The book and app are a perfect companion to our program! The Injoy app includes engaging videos, 3D animations, helpful web links, downloadable PDFs, and a Parent's Toolbox loaded with interactive tools. It is yours to keep and share with your support team!
Rosa is a proud mom and grand mom to 3. She is one of our Birthing and Breastfeeding instructors and is an ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator (ICCE). She is a doula to family and friends and is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who works as a lactation consultant at our Novi campus.
If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. Ascension Providence reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 5 registrants. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.

*Call the number on the back of your insurance card and verify your coverage. Give them the code listed above. Your instructor is happy to sign a reimbursement form for you on request. Any amount not covered by insurance will be the registrant's responsibility.
