Join us for a virtual lecture on topics affecting obesity and impacts on your health

Obesity has been a growing problem in the U.S.  More than 40% of adults and 19% of children now have obesity.  Some people may think of obesity as a consequence of lifestyle choices.  The rise in obesity has serious implications.  Excess body fat can trigger inflammation, high blood sugar and high blood pressure.  Levels of fat and cholesterol in the blood increase, raising the risk of heart disease and stroke.
