Safe Kids Oakland County, led by Ascension Providence Hospital, implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.

Tours are held at each campus to answer your questions about where to go and what to bring for your delivery.  If you are taking one of our childbirth classes, a tour will be included and you don't need to register for a separate tour.

We offer a variety of Birthing classes as multiple sites, as well as the eClasses for those who are unable to attend an in-person class.  Anyone can register for any of our classes, regardless of where they plan to deliver. 

All of our classes cover the stages of labor, comfort measures, positions for labor and delivery, medical interventions, Cesarean birth, postpartum and newborn care and more!

We offer Breastfeeding classes as multiple sites, as well as the eClasses for those who are unable to attend an in-person class.  Anyone can register for any of our classes, regardless of where they plan to deliver. 

All of our breastfeeding classes cover how to get started with breastfeeding, how to know if breastfeeding is going well and what to do if you are having any problems.  We will also cover pumping and feeding expressed breastmilk.

 If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. Ascension Providence reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 5 registrants. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
