The Safe Kids Oakland County Coalition is looking for volunteers to assist with fitting bike helmets at a community event in Novi, MI.

The Novi's Sizzling Summer Art Series is hosting an Ascension Providence Bike Safety booth on June 27, 2024 from 10:30 am - 12 pm at Furest Park. Safe Kids Oakland County is running a helmet and pedestrian safety station and looking for volunteers to:

  • Help fit and distribute bike helmets to kids
  • Distribute bike safety material and run the "Road Safety Can You Spot the Difference" display, and help manage flow to open helmet fitters

    This volunteer would primarily be responsible for fitting bike helmets and educating about proper wear.


  • Booth Runner

    Booth Runner [Sold Out]

    This volunteer would primarily be responsible for managing the flow of kids to open Helmet Fitters, educate families while they wait, distribute resources/ goodies, and maintain helmet stock.


  • No Preference

    No Preference [Sold Out]

    This volunteer would feel comfortable in either task and can flex where the most help is needed.
