This is a private volunteer event for members of the Safe Kids Oakland County Coalition or the Michigan Trauma Coalition.

The Cub Scout Pack 746 is hosting a Bike Rodeo event on May 25, 2023 from 6:30 pm - 8 pm. Safe Kids Oakland County is running a helmet and pedestrian safety station and looking for volunteers to:

  • Help fit and distribute bike helmets to kids
  • Distribute bike safety material and run the "Road Safety Can You Spot the Difference" display, and help manage flow to open helmet fitters

  • The event is from 6:30p - 7:30p. Volunteers are asked to arrive 30 mins early to review types of helmets, items for distribution, and assist with setup.

Volunteer Role Option:*

    Helmet Fitter [10 remaining]

    This volunteer would primarily be responsible for fitting bike helmets and educating about proper wear.

  • Booth Runner

    Booth Runner [5 remaining]

    This volunteer would primarily be responsible for managing the flow of kids to open Helmet Fitters, educate families while they wait, distribute resources/ goodies, and maintain helmet stock.

  • No Preference

    No Preference [7 remaining]

    This volunteer would feel comfortable in either task and can flex where the most help is needed.
